This came to a finale at last weekend, Saturday 26th, January 2019. I was contracted to help organise this event from August 2018. I can't believe how fast time flies!
It was so much fun to be a part of this event! We couldn't have achieved such a brilliant show if we hadn't worked as such a great team! We arrived on the Friday to get set up with the shelf scheme, furniture etc and welcome exhibitors to set up their stands.
My morning began welcoming exhibitors to Alexandra Palace, directing them to their stand, and offering help with their things. I then went to the Panorama room ready to welcome the VIP coach visitors with Denbies Vineyard Surrey wine accompanied with grapes and biscuits (yum!).
Altogether there were nine coaches full of visitors we welcomed. Once they were all on their way to the show, we cleared up the room and headed to the show to answer any visitor and exhibitor queries.
The responsibilities for this role included communication via email and phone with visitors and exhibitors as well as general enquiries, maintenance of the website and social media, Arranging team meetings, design of invites mailed out to over 10,000 contacts, website and social media branding, and promotion for both TSE, Excursions and exhibitors of Excursions 2019.
